Jeremy’s motivation for creating his work is to find simplicity in form. He endeavours to create pieces with clean lines using a simple palette of metals, precious and semi-precious stones.
Jeremy is fascinated by the enduring qualities of New Zealand Jasper, Argilite, Basalt and Pounamu. Using techniques of lapidary Jeremy works on the pieces individually, ensuring that each form is created in sympathy with the material.
Jeremy is a Christchurch based jewellery designer working at The Filing Kabinett with workshop partners Elfi Spiewack and Lynn Kelly, they are based at The Tannery in Woolston.
