I am a Northland-based jeweller living in Kerikeri for the last 22 years. I am originally from Auckland, which is where I opened Royal Jewellery Studio back in 1998. I'm a self-taught jeweller and became inspired to make jewellery after hanging with jewellers in Timor and Bali. Previously I had made ceramic works, but jewellery has long taken over.

I love working in mixed metals, Gold, Silver, Platinum and Palladium all feature, often with Diamonds and coloured gems, and nearly always with some textured finishes. I have a large collection of gems that I have purchased over the years, I am a bit of a gem hoarder and sometimes find it hard to let go of these beauties!

When I'm not making jewellery, you'll find me hanging with my kids and partner Jess, we love to escape to the beach for surfing, fishing and boating in our Northland paradise.
