Having spent the first twenty years of my life living in Opoho, I am very familiar with the upper Botanical Gardens and Northern Cemetery area. Growing up I had many adventures there. As children, my sister and I knew all the Gardens’ tracks and we would gather cones and pick blackberries and mushrooms by the cemetery (nice big ones - well fertilized).

It is with nostalgia I have painted these pictures to take you along some of these tracks.
