DIORAMA
[Gr. di- ( = dia) through + harama that which is seen, a sight.]
Re-cycled materials and objects have been used and interpreted to create these small 3 dimensional objects.
Colour & light combine to create illusion and evoke various narratives, many of which contain references to the natural world.
The materials suggest their own uses, and the meandering process of pursuing these suggestions leads to the creation of some surprising small worlds.
I hope that they impart to the viewer some of the delight I had in making them.
