In this show I have combined two of my great passions – Printmaking and Spring Flowers.

My eye has been drawn to the sculpural quality of the Magnolia and the delicate bleed of colour in the Iris petal.

After hours of exploration I have produced a body of one off prints, utilising a variety of different printmaking techniques.

With the use of textured wallpapers I have created collagraph plates which have been printed over drypoints and monotypes, giving the individual flowers another layer of botanical beauty.

I now have a studio full of dead and dying flowers but the inspiration I have taken from them will last for ever.
