Apart from studying life drawing at the Otago Polytechnic School of Art, I am self-taught. I started painting in 1997 at the age of 44.
I have had two exhibitions at the Forrester Gallery in Oamaru, two at the Flagstaff Gallery in Auckland and two at the Moray Gallery in Dunedin.
Also several impromptu exhibitions in Dunedin and Oamaru.

I have a studio/gallery in Tees St. Oamaru called the Butchers Hook.
