Anne Dillon is a Christchurch artist whose exploratory approach to her work has led to her producing a diverse range of artworks.
Since beginning her art journey, she has gone on to show her work both locally and internationally, and her work is now held in private collections in the USA, Sweden, Canada, France, Brazil, the UK and Australia, as well as in New Zealand.
She currently has seven artworks on permanent display at the Saatchi Art Gallery in London on the second floor screen, and was the only female to be selected as part of the Museum of Digital Fine Arts’ Summer Show, an online exhibition featuring only eight artists worldwide. Two of her pieces were also shown in Los Angeles in December 2015 as part of the “Snap to Grid” exhibition held by the LA Centre for Digital Arts.
Anne was also a Top 20 finalist in the Christchurch Art Show Awards 2016. She is represented by galleries in Christchurch, Dunedin, Tauranga, Hamilton and Auckland as well as Central Coast, Australia. She also featured as a finalist in the 2017 ZONTA Female Art Awards.
Anne loves what she does and her philosophy is simple. Never stop asking, “What happens if?”
