I live beside a bay, amongst hills and valleys, surrounded by sea and sky. This is my home and my work is fed by my physical surroundings. My practice is further enhanced by the ‘crib’ I live in – it frames both my view and my making. As a ‘state of mind’ the crib or bach is reflected in my work – from the variety of surfaces and mediums that I use to the spontaneous and organic approach I adopt in my practice.
