I have always made prints and painted. My pottery and prints are in public and private collections here and overseas. I exhibit mainly in New Zealand but have also had work shown in Japan, Scotland, England, Canada and Fiji. I was on the Council of the Otago Art Society from 1994-2001, two years as President.
Colour and form are very important to me. I work from sketches drawn around Dunedin and when tramping or travelling locally or overseas. My images are then designed and printed in my studio.I use screen printing to interpret my ideas and feelings. Sometimes I work with etchings, woodcuts and acrylic painting.
Landscapes, native birds and flora and abstract images interest me.
I work from a studio designed by my architect daughter and built by my husband, It overlooks Dunedin city and harbour ,high up on Mount Cargill.
